A complex project within a live building. Access to some areas to complete the refurbishment was extremely difficult, some would say impossible.

Highlights:

• Highly bespoke, engineered solutions that delivered on all access requirements.
• Various cantilever scaffolds anchored with hilti fixings and chains simplified the solution as it eliminated the need for steel beams from the floors below.
• Edge protection supported the two built floors from the top down.
• Swing stage with rostrums used as lifting points to winch in the new duct installed from level 7 to the roof.
